The other bit I have found in my research last couple of days is just how big the supply deficit is for concentrate into China. They have been heavily reliant on Myanmar (90% of imports) and their own mines. Myanmar are experiencing considerable issues with their mines - particularly with regards to grade decline and safety incidents (mine collapses).. their production is falling considerably and so too are the Chinese domestic mines. There’s no doubt in my mind China need tin concentrate supply (indo/Peru/Malaysia all have their own refinery’s).... someone in China wants this asset IMO.
