Seen similar happen to real estate scam in Spain.

In the Spain scam (Fortuna estates scam) The Directors left for Singapore and Thailand and the states ,leaving investors high and dry,
People lost their pensions

Some countries have pursued the thieves and years years later some were extradited to Spain and now serving Jail time.
But it took a long time to get them, Hopefully Australia will drive an investigation through bring them to Justice.

So they may be on a beach now swanning it, but the clock might be ticking..unless their in China.
