G'Day OldeFella-Yes agree re processing tailings so as to verify / confirm the previous 3 party CIL & Gravity tests results, and confirm exactly what the existing gravity plants configuration is able to recover from tailings is important to clarify.
Existing plant has been report-ably re optimized by R.R. at 80% recovery in Concentrate -would like it to be reported as Smelt recovery as its absolute obviously its lower than 80% .
I don't think their would be to much un-liberated gold in the tailings from commencement of hammer mills being used, due to the very fine micron crush of the hammer mills though it may make it very hard to recover with out Cyanide retention time -all going to come down to numbers .
It very well may be that the tailings will be re processed at some time in the future when a higher recovery plant utilizing CIL is in operation,
eg -Sertao if / when a second mine becomes operational .
