So this seems to have come from left field. Blindsided by the light. Never mentioned as an issue in any of the things i have read on the mighty ship GIP.

That said, hardly surprising, given that this project has been sitting pregnant for years and has not been developed. In fact, one might suggest that this development schedule has been over promised by management since the last team were removed and Ian took control.

Sure, funding has always been the big ticket item, and the trial alluvial mining (farce as it was) surely would (or should) have curried some local favour.

Could it be a matter of use it or lose it?

As rastus64 states above... huge (JORC standard) reserves of disappointment in this announcement.

Hope it can be resolved and pronto. Good luck to holders, i had been looking to dip my own toes back into the story at some point. Will now wait see.
