In actual fact the approvals process was well handled and expeditious in the circumstances reigning in Indonesia.
Where the problem has been in the handling of the information flow to shareholders and the corporate duties such as handling takeover activity.
This has never been Peter Lynch's strong point. The in country person, Gary, has never been a star in Indonesia despite holding some high positions.
His fellow directors are somewhat sus.

The 'mess' is not due to technical skill but corporate skills for all involved.
