I can see why that would knock the share price around in the short term. However, as a thought experiment to hone in on what's important, imagine today you had to literally bet the house and go long or short on Aura. As it's a thought experiment, you have access to a crystal ball which lets you know one of the following: (A) All news articles about the pump and dump scheme up to 31 March 2025 (B) All substantial shareholder transactions including volumes and whether buy/sell (but excluding price) up to 31 March 2025 (C) Status of Tiris and Hagan (including any Swedish government announcements) up to 31 March 2025 (D) Another piece of information of your choosing, excluding anything that would directly reveal the share price
If anyone chooses (D), curious what that is. For me, the company has drawn its line in the sand and said FID by Q1 2025. They've laid out what needs to be done to get there:
• Resource and mine planning updates following the resource drilling program • Establishment of an owner’s team • Finalisation of the construction scope and budget • Commitments to early works including water and electricity • Government development consents • Arrangements with key offtake partners • Financing for the project development
So far so good under Andrew's watch but I do see risks that could justifiably derail the company's fundamentals and value. But the article above is not one of them (even if it does cause the market some jitters).
