Muritania one of 54 countries in Africa. Niger where Orano mines uranium is a land locked country and therefore have no sea port. Orano has a agreement with Benin ( one of the 54 countries in Africa) to allow the shipping through their country. The problem Orano has is that Benin has closed the boarder to Niger due to a fallout with the junta. On top of this are profitability has gone down. I don't see how this affects Mauritania which is a country 1500km away separated by Mali another one of the 54 countries in Africa. if anything Orano could come to an agreement to transport the $325m worth of uranium stocked to the port of Nouakchott to be exported, this is the same port Aura and Orano have a agreement to use.
