You make some good points here, except that SYR achieves 8.8 tons of graphite, which then needs to go through a process of further refining and milling reducing the material to a level suitable for anode material by some 50%, so you are now at 4.4 tons. The next step is spherisation and coating another 50% loss to achieve active anode material, now 2,200 tons per 100,000 tons of ore. Talga on the other hand achieve 90% recovery into active anode material for 19,440 tons per 100,000 tons of ore, without it having to be shipped half way around the world. the number speak for themselves even before factoring in the green energy available in Northern Scandinavia.
