SWF is imo being usurped by at least 4 competitors on price, features &/or product; one example is Superhero's launch of their superannuation product that allows members without an SMSF to cost-efficiently choose their own investments on a stock-by-stock level.

if i was looking for a broker tomorrow, i would probably not choose SWF.

I would just caution that there are two different customer metrics being used here interchangably.
Stake are talking about their "customers" being 125k, while SelfWealth are talking about their "active customers" being over 100k.
Stake have never stated how many people signed up and gave them their email address (customers), have actually started regulary trading.
So i assume that the number of active customers that Stake has is probably just more like 20k not 125, which would also mean that SelfWealth probably has 500k "customers".
Apples and Oranges for everyone...
