The rationale is strong….lots of cost synergies and time to move on from a bygone era where regional and metro are separated. They can still be considered different markets for advertising and content, where it makes sense.
Who’s to say if the market will like it but I sure do. Having more end to end control and engagement with their national customer and viewer base. That’s a big positive right here.
