its not about what is recorded ie top holders.
People on asx have many different holdings in the same stock under different names
Its about volume. Where it comes from , we dont know.
If you knew a stock was about to be pumped, and you dont want to spook the market with sub holder or top 20 notice,
then you may sell parcels in other names and keep your core holding.
We know there was big selling period from $2 -2.50
