There is a space for fixed wireless and it's not typically competing with the NBN that the punters get.

Once a fixed wireless network is set up it costs next to nothing to run. Towers can be linked Point to Point without having to connect each site to fibre. 1 fibre POI can backhaul for 10 or 20 towers so overheads can be kept very low.

This means a fixed wireless operator can offer business grade 50/50 or 100/100mbps + bandwidths and under cut NBN, Aussie and Telstra fibre services for business.

Will be interesting to see how the next 12 months pan out.
