The shorting has turned over and soon after this data rather healthy daily trading volume started accumulating at 44c. Traded volume that's continued through until today.

The buyer/s at 44c get hit then get reloaded and sold into ... so it's almost like an orchestrated on-market short cover period.

The "employee incentive" options announcement yesterday 2m strike 66c, 15/8/26 expiry ... will be conveniently Black Scholes priced at very reasonable rates given the shorting that's helped to depress the SP lately, that seems to have been covered very recently.

Accumulation at 44c appears fairly obvious here.

This is one of my old favourite chart setups (high'ish chance of success) with the MACD about to cross up through zero.

Needless to say I'm now long.

Gold is in the dumps with the US market freaking out about China's economic woes, but perhaps SXG have hit the motherload.
