not a mining engineer but nearby costerfield do narrow vein stoping i believe. they just do smaller drives with single boom jumbos, and little baby boggers. so i think its very possible to do this as sxg have higher grade gold. The orientation of the quartz lode will be important. Steep would be good for stoping, flat would be bad.
