If it costs $35 per ton to crush rock then this project is dead in the water already.

Only Nd and Pr will get notable payables, the other rare earths are usually trash (Dy and Tb could be interesting but they have notable ommitted these). NdPr oxide price = $109 AUD/kg 99.9% pure (source: SMM, AUD:USD 0.65)
Grade of NdPr oxide in drill results averages 330 ppm (g/t), or 0.33 kg/t. Payability on benchmark pure price if they make a mixed rare earth carbonate (MREC) product typical for ionic clay operations is 75%. Extraction based on their pulverised test was 80%.

So payability per tonne of ore dug is $109 AUD/kg NdPr oxide x 0.33 kg/t NdPr oxide x 75% MREC payability x 80% extraction = $21.60/t of feed ore mined in revenue.

So if it costs $35 per ton to crush rock, this operation is underwater by $14 a tonne before it even pays for acid, grinding, mining and of course director salaries.
