I think we all knew this was going to be huge, but the numbers are still staggering.
To put this into context, the 10 largest rare earth projects globally as at 2023 can be found here https://www.mining.com/featured-article/ranked-worlds-top-10-rare-earth-projects/. The headline resource of 4.8 Bt at 302 ppm NdPr (approx. 1.85 kg/t TREO to put into the same nomenclature as the top 10 ranking) gives Sybella ~8.6 mt TREO. Or in other words, the fourth largest REO project globally (note that this list may exclude China).
Two other things stand out to me. Only 200 x 400 m drill spacing for indicated resource = low ongoing exploration costs. Secondly, they can now apply for government funding which given the sheer global scale of the project we should have good chances here.
