100% in agreement. the Govt (Fed & State) is the only reason l am avoiding travel shares. I managed to get out of FLT at $40+ SYD early and while l should be back in l invested oseas via index funds. the Govt here have a real taste for power and don't want to let go..... I reckon do as Europe does, implement super strict requirements and then leave it up to the people to decide whether they want to travel. we have a health pandemic but we have a fear pandemic that boarders on the hysterical. what are NZ going to do shut down every time they have a case, tell the banks what they are going to pay? what we are creating is a nation of public servants on the Govts payroll... how did we manage in 1918, through 2 world wars?? u would want this lot leading us in a war. protect like crazy the vulnerable, mask wearing mandatory, run a real quarantine and open business.. rant over l feel better
