Seriously, this herd immunity stuff is crap. To get herd immunity, without a vaccine, you need around 60-70% of the population to get Covid-19. No country is anywhere near those levels at all.
What is happening is countries are just getting use to the virus and are more interested in the economic impacts and imposing restrictions such as face masks, social distancing etc to reduce the spread. It is about buying time until a vaccine is available.
