Throughput was about mechanical stability:
"Process plant throughput has been steadily improving as a number of mechanical stability issues and throughout constraints have been addressed, most notably in the tertiary crushing circuit. Mill throughput for the March quarter was 84% of the design rate of 350,000t per annum, increasing to 93% of design capacity in the month of March. Further minor capital projects are underway within the tertiary circuit."
With 93% for March I think it is safe to assume that 100% for May wasn't just peak load but overall availability. I'd also think we can recover most of those extra costs from the plant provider. Lack of structural strength sounds like an evident case for remedies against the seller  ...

The gold recovery should go up seriously (>90%)  in July with instalment of the last improvement on the list:
"Improved process availability with the installation of a surge tank ahead of the leach circuit, due for completion in July."


I agree that it would be nice to know what exactly caused the need for the additional measures.

Also, Glencore had pledged technical support to get the mine running - wonder how much help we really got ...
