I agree. Yes the capital requirements are much higher than when we were looking at a stand alone scandium mine. However anyone who didn't expect that hasn't done enough research IMHO. I always expected it to massively increase our capital outlay, and I for one was happy to see it come in under a billion.
I really had expected from the quick skim of the announcement I had before I started work this morning that we would see a big jump in SP rather than the loss we ended up with. Did I miss something, the economics of the project looked fantastic to me. And I also hope they opt for a large chunk of the outlay as debt rather than equity in building this project in order to minimise current shareholder dilution. It appears to me that we should have little trouble paying off that debt in fairly short order considering the profits we are going to make once in production.
I would be very interested in hearing any opposing views if anyone has any? Cheers.
