re: Ann: Syngas signs deal with major Chinese... Yes it is fantastic news Katy,
This stock has been a sleeper for a long time with great potential. The potential is about to unleashed. All it takes is a cashed up joint venturer who will fund the capex to build the infrastructure to get this, "potential Green Energy", situation up and running.
Well it's finally happening.
Banjo Patterson sums up this situation in his poem 'The man from snowy river" in the opening stanza...with a bit of poetic license :)
" There was movement at the station, for the word had passed around ,That the colt ( SYS) from Old Regret had got away, and had joined the wild bush horses (junior O&G stocks) he was worth a thousand pound
So all the cracks (day traders) had gathered to the fray.
All the tried and noted riders (LT holders) from the stations near and far had mustered at the homestead overnight, For the bushmen (ASX punters)love hard riding where the wild bush horses are, and the stock-horse snuffs the battle with delight."
Looks like the colt likes Chinese food and so do the bushmen.
Cash is King and the Chinese will provide it for an equity stake, going for FIRB approval.
So long as SYS keep a 51.009 % stake it will be fantastic.
This is very significant news for a $4M market cap minnow.
It will be significant news for the Victorian Government and the dirty coal miners ..Bob brown eat your heart out!
No doubt the Labour/green coalition will claim credit for a deal like this...forgetting the hard slog SYS and board have had to go through to get it to this stage.
This co is certainly worthwhile backing and remember Banjo Pats poem ..I have a lot of Clancy's backing my sentiment.
Syngas is in a great postion to utilise the tech and license it out worldwide and gain massive revenues from not only the end product sales but also from the Carbon Credits trading if Carbon Credits ever get there.
The huge chinese company will no doubt want the Chinese licenses.
So Katy I am now a shareholder and this sort of news deserves spruiking. Not a bad gain on a down market...the word will get around!
Cheers

No advice above, just my views. You all need to do your research into the tech and possibilities and then make an investment decision. If you profit you can only blame yourself and the same applies if you cop a loss.
I prefer patting myself on the back! It's been a busy day, so back to my whiskey sour.
