With a patent in place, in theory a competitor cannot poach staff or hack computers and copy the LCK model - they will actually have to do the trial and error, which LCK say they have been working on since 2018.

This this announcement augments the recent announcement re purchase of assets in Chile, and beyond. The ability to produce syngas for industry and store the carbon byproduct from seemingly redundant resources (coalfields) has to be an exiting proposition.

If you're in it for the long game the timing of major announcements isn't as relevant as building on and perfecting the core competitive advantage IMO - this is the reason for so much complaining on this forum, people want to see their portfolios green every day, and as such whinge about management for not focusing on that for them.
