The Supreme Court won't have told any lawyer anything - that is not part of the process.
Legal costs will be very high. As a condition of the covenant, the covenant holder (synlait) has to pay ALL legal costs associated with the covenant. So they have to pay Mr Ye's costs, irrespective of this settlement.
