A lot of great news in this announcement. Weird some keep talking about POC when there are so many white label deals mentioned.

Turkey is a white label deal for Freeway and Dataflex.
‘Syntonic is working with Türk Telekom, Turkcell, and Vodafone Turkey to integrate the Syntonic Connected Services PlatformTM (“CSP”) to enable a white-labeled Freeway and DataFlex service, supported by Syntonic’s regional partner, AKTAY A.S. Additionally, AKTAY has secured local municipal government agencies to participate in the service.’

Once again the deal with Smart is mentioned. That’s a white label deal and will generate revenue for Syntonic. This is from the original release announcing the deal:
‘The next version of RoamFree, scheduled for release next quarter, will use the white-labelled Freeway Roaming Service...Syntonic will generate revenue from app affiliation fees and commissions from consumer purchases of international data plans transacted within the app.’

Vietnam and Tecapro also makes a mention, as are the future expansion plans in Vietnam: ‘with other Vietnam carriers to be on-boarded during H2 FY2019.’
Yes this is a partnership and not white labelled per se. So what? Not every deal is going to be white labelled. The company has clearly explained its strategy about partnering with local companies before. From the 2018 business objective release:
‘The Company’s go-to-market strategy is to work with regional partners to operate the Freeway service in local markets and to offload the go-to-market activities such as local content procurement and customer acquisition. Revenue models vary by region, but generally involve a net revenue share relationship between the regional partner and Syntonic that is based on the respective share of the marketing and data costs.’

However for those who want more white label deals. Here they are

    First in Ghana:
‘In Ghana, the Company has completed the integration of the Syntonic CSP into the production environments of MTN Ghana, Airtel Tigo, and Vodafone Ghana and is anticipating deployment of a white-labelled version of the Freeway service on these carriers in Q1 FY2019.’

Next a white label deal in Kenya.
‘Additionally, in the region, Syntonic has completed integration of its white- labelled service with Safaricom in Kenya and anticipates deployment in Q1 FY2019.’

Gary also mentions: ‘Syntonic is working hard to make the Freeway white-labeled service available to an additional 139.1 million smartphones in these countries, and we are excited with the number of additional tier-1 carriers advancing in the pipeline for FY2019.’

There’s a lot coming in the next 6 months
