The Bridge Alliance tie up provides a larger piece of the IOT puzzle as SYT will now have close to a global footprint. Iot is noted as a key strategic target for the Bridge Alliance partners.

If the SYT platform is able to Roam successfully, it will now be easy to prove that the SYT platform will allow a sim loaded at the factory to call up any international network access point and be able to connect to a pre determined designated app even where that access point is not supported by the preloaded sim. You will recall this was demonstrated two Q&A’s ago.

Therefore a manufacturer need only insert one sim and have a CSP based app and an account with a SYT aligned carrier and that appliance will be able to access the IOT to report faults and accept upgrades and the like. The reduction in warranty service costs alone will justify any costs IMO.

Many old timers might recall we discussed international roaming capabilities for SYT when Freeway was the new development and identified it as a proof of concept. Roaming is another step on that journey.

Roaming now validates the CSP as the perfect tool for mass delivery of IOT applications IMO and Bridge is getting close to the last piece of the global network coverage puzzle SYT require for rollout of a global IOT solution IMO.
