    I guess this download bounty fee is like an indirect marketing cost..
    say $2 per dl, 1 million download will transfered into 1mil new instant customers.

    I am sure Amazon marketing cost is alot more than $2mil which may or may not guarrantee they will converted into customers.

    so would u spend $10mil to get 1mil customer or $2mil to get 1mil customers?

    just a thought.
