Lab results are an important step, but only indicate what might be possible. Pilot testing is a giant step and prove what is probable. Without pilot testing it is all wishful thinking with regard to the extractive industry. That is why SYR is the leader of the pack..... they have invested heavily in pilot testing from the get go.
Additionally, what is very smart business by SYR is the fact they are tapping into the knowledge and skills from the 2 leading nations with regard to natural graphite mining and processing... they being both China and Brazil. SYR is employing and/or contracting very experienced personnel from both those leading nations.
This announcement might not be mind blowing, but it is a significant engineering step that gets another tick in the box for SYR management.
