Prime1 you are incorrect as Vanadium is part of the 45 element analytical report done on ANY graphite product used in electrochemical applications and to be battery grade graphite for secondary batteries has to be < 5 ppm.
Having been working in the battery industry for a couple if decades, I do have a pretty good idea of what is required chemically and elemental limits for primary & secondary battery applications as well as conductive coatings, super caps, fuel cells, and power gen cables.
