Poster 1973 seeks desperately to focus attention on Syrah, which, currently without a permanent MD, has suffered a mauling on the market.

But conspicuously missing in the points which he makes are these:

Syrah is building the world's largest graphite mine (now more than half-way to completion)
Syrah has the cash in hand to finish the job
Syrah has substantial orders in hand, and will start delivering product to those customers in nine months.

The interesting point is this:

Why is it that 1973 avoided mentioning any of these things?

Could it be that he wants to distract attention from the graphite company in which he holds shares?

Could it be that the same company has no mine, no money to build one, no customers, and just SIX employees?

Could it be that 1973 will say anything he can in the faint hope that people do not notice his perilous position?

Nobody is denying that Syrah has problems, today. But they have the resources, the staff, and the organisation in place to resolve those problems - a strength which, by the way, is due in no small degree to the work and energy of Tolga Kumova.

Syrah will grow and prosper. Is the future so bright for some others in the industry?
