I don't recall anyone in Port Lincoln proposing to set up a spherical graphite plant in the USA - shipping raw graphite there, then spheroidizing it in the USA and possibly shipping to battery manufacturers elsewhere - which is what I was talking about.

However, just as an exercise I put the same details into the Freight Calculator using ex Adelaide to San Francisco and came up with $1,765 - $1,951 for one x 20 ft container vs ex Nacala, MOZ to San Francisco = $7,048 - $7,790 as an estimate. There does appear to be a big difference.
