This might sound a stupid question... But I will ask it anyway

Everyone gets excited about these new products being available...

But what actually is the demand... As in how many people really want to regularly buy these products. I mean, if I was to come up with a new product made of doggie poo...just because it's a new product doesn't mean people want to consume it.

is there any actual market research done into this anywhere that I can review. I have looked by the way, I just can't find anything on the real accessible market for these products
