While hole 9 is ~400m or so to the top of the ?mineralised unit it represents the down dip portion of the ?deposit.

At the AGM the MD said the prospective unit comes to surface on DLE ground.  This remains to be confirmed, as with the cobalt, gold etc grades.   But it implies that there is potential for a significant open pit before the deeper material needs to be developed.

Also at the AGM there was mention of the possibility of long wall mechanized mining if the high ACM results were confirmed.  Not certain how practical that style of mining would be.  Just an idea that was floated.

A pit would be coal like - with highwall and parallel to dip.

Another mining aspect:  By analogy with the intense multi phase weathering that has occurred at the Paroo Station Mine I would expect a significant weathering induced remobilization of metals from surface to say 100m maximum.
This effect could range from total leaching to strong supergene concentration as is the case at the Paroo Station mine (formerly Magellan - touted as the world's largest carbonate lead mine).
