My understanding is that any payout to Zurich would come from negotiations (if there is no cash settlement via Tafta). If no agreement reached then Zurich would need to take KCN to court. But it sounds like they're on good terms for now, so I expect some sort of agreement. I very much doubt that the full insured amount would be paid back. If that was Zurich's expectation then I'm sure KCN would fight it.
