I agree that the optics of the 250k x 2 bonuses aren’t great. I also agree that communication from management looks frustrating for most long term shareholders, whose nerves must be completely shredded by the events of the last 7 years.
But try to be thankful for the fact that the POG is above 2k, and that plant 2 has been performing above expectations.
For comparison, look what has happened to the spodumene price recently. Look at poor old CXO, who is basically reduced to processing ROM stockpiles, and has ceased mining for at least 6-12 months minimum. Possibly heading for C and M.
Things can change quickly, and I think we have to back our team. We have no cash reserves (unlike CXO), so full production is our only hope. If they get both plants on line soon, I will forgive management their other failings.
The next 6 months are crucial, it will be a white knuckle ride, but rewards could be massive.
