Lets face if the SPL applications that have now been approved because the company has the foot on the Thai govt's throat via FTA , werein play for the approval process (albeit corrupt) quite a while before the 2016 illegal shutdown. Had the processing plant & mine not been unscrupulously, for the last 9 years, forced into care & maint. (shut), the company may well have been processing these permits, so we should attribute the SPL's as compensation???.......
I personally, think not!!!!
I might add, if we had not been unscrupulously shut & mining the leases (if they were somehow approved), I wonder if we would have become part of the corrupt process, some how I think not, hats off to a resolute KCN management.
Anyway I recon the company has to be compensated monetarily on the finality of TAFTA, enough to cover zurich's bill, & some. JMHO
