At current prices for MEL and BYE , MEL after the in specie distribution of the BYE is valued at about 1.9 cents and a MC of about $7 M .
Looks good value to me given their cash and retained BYE shares and their upcoming drills .
Prior to the Announcement of the BYE distribution I did something which I would not usually do .
I called the Executive Chairman on his mobile phone and he returned my call within 5 minutes .
He was very generous with his time and we had a very frank discussion .
He impressed me as a very straight shooter and much different from the smooth talking evasive managers that usually have a set spiel they feed to sooth the concerns of their shareholders .
I will be holding my thinned down MEL shares after the distribution of the BYE shares .
