If you accept you have sold your shares at 30.5c.
There is also a possibility that Elph could increase their price. The independent valuer stated that the shares are worth 31.8c per share and the offer is “not fair”.
I think Elph would be very happy to hear this because they probably feel a “sweetener” of 1.5c might get undecideds across the line. So I think there is a better than even chance that Elph raises its offer to 32c during the offer period. Too low for me but others might be happy.
Also note that if you accept now and they raise their price you would also receive the higher price. Someone has to hold out to make that happen, I’ll be amongst the holdouts and won’t be selling unless compulsorary!
I think the board’s response (target statement) is very wishy washy, basically sell if you want, hold if you want. Doesn’t feel like they are defending their company or trying to achieve a higher price for shareholders.
