Kirkcaldie & Stains Receives Takeover Notice
Pursuant to rule 42 of the Takeovers Code, the Company gives notice that it
has received a Takeover Notice from Mercantile NZ Limited to purchase 100% of
the ordinary shares in the Company not already held by Mercantile NZ Limited
for $2.75 in cash per share.
A copy of the notice and the documents that accompanied it are attached.
The directors are now taking the steps required of a target company under the
Takeovers Code.
In the meantime shareholders are referred to the announcement made by the
Company on Tuesday 23 February 2016 and the comments made at the Annual
Meeting later that day in which the directors gave an indication of their
expectation of the net assets value per share after the capital distribution
which will be completed on Monday 29 February 2016.
