LPC - NOTICE OF DESPATCH OF TARGET COMPANY STATEMENT
Lyttelton Port of Christchurch (LPC) gives notice that it has today mailed to
its shareholders the Target Company Statement and Independent Adviser's
Report in response to the takeover offer from Christchurch City Holdings
Limited.
A copy of the Target Company Statement and Independent Adviser's Report are
attached to this announcement and can also be downloaded from the NZX website
at https://www.nzx.com/markets/NZSX/securities/LPC/announcements.
The Target Company Statement contains a unanimous recommendation from the
Board that shareholders do accept the offer from Christchurch City Holdings
Limited. The reasons supporting this recommendation are outlined in the
Target Company Statement.
However, the Board recommend that shareholders carefully consider the
information in the Target Company Statement, and in particular should
consider closely the potential outcomes discussed in the Independent
Adviser's Report, before making a decision in response to the offer.
