Proceeding on today's conditions (1.35 t sub-bituminous coal input for 1 t of briquetts, $6/t operating costs, sale at $100/t) WEC could make some unbelievable $ 36 billion from SACL's deposits of 515 million tons at Lake Phillipson. Not enough, it is believed another undiscovered 1 billion ton to exist there, resulting in $ 100 billion waiting to be digged up!!!
Besides the tremendous financial potential this takeover will strengthen WEC's bargaining hand towards joint venture partners around the world leading to better conditions for WEC.
With former FLX top-managers coming over to run WEC and their strong financial commitment I am soooo bullish on WEC.
