re: Ann: NGF: Takeover Offer for Kalgoorlie M... seekingalpha - it doesn't matter how profitable NGF becomes, if they have got no intention of distributing the profits via dividends or capital return then it doesn't matter. Secondly, being so illiquid restricts the amount of people who have any intention of buying into a stock like NGF - no funds or insto's or sophisticated investor will have any interest. Thirdly, with it being so illiquid, if Zijn wish to get a higher percentage of the NGF shares, they can quite easily surpress the share price by putting on the market at, let's say 10c, and then offer 15c for a takeover. Remember, after this deal Zijn will still hold around 85% of NGF and potentially more when they get hold of Kwok and Lee's shares, because these two shareholders will have no interest in NGF's company - they wont get dividends and they wont be able to sell their shares on-market.
Sorry SeekingAlpha - trying to find the benefits, but there aren't any in your post. Doesn't matter how well NGF company does, buyers are not likely to enter, and therefore there will be no share price appreciation!!!
