In my humble opinion, I think their little advice here is purely to have a piece of documentation on the record to protect themselves legally if they are ever charged with not acting in the best interests of shareholders. They can say "look at this notice we issued, it's very clear we're trying to represent shareholders best interests".
Don't read anything more into it.
