Yep, you're right, I'm probably not going to be in this stock as long as you are. But you have to admit, Buffet's value investing methods are less suited to environments with constant central bank interference like we are seeing right now. The fundamental analysis that you do is undermined completely by what Bernanke is doing, and the environment or uncertainty and volatility it creates. Perhaps in the long term the market will indeed shrug this off and begin to weight stocks by their intrinsic value. But, will that mean a higher price for KRM than the one that loose monetary and fiscal policy will create?
We should get a big bounce today and more upward momentum over the next days/weeks/months, however long the drugs last this time, and it will have very little to do with fundamentals of the company.
I'll be exiting this stock as soon as I see sentiment turning against gold and toward the next thing. Still, I reckon we'll both make money out of it.
