The municipality has said for a while now that there will be no decision till they sit again after the summer holidays, the decision is expected to be negative. Hence the reason MT approached the government to intervene. If we waited till the municipality officially refused the detailed plan we would have to then apply to the government in August and would be a 3-4 month wait from then. The municipality cannot block the detailed plan with supporting government intervention.
While this has caused tension with the municipality it has been a planning master-stroke.
The catalyst will be the SC decision.
