Anyone here a lawyer/have a good understanding of patent law? If he has filed the patents, does that make them his (and now by extrapolation, ours) or are they owned by the organisation he was working for at the time of filing? Essentially what I'm asking is, did we just hire/appoint a bloke with 22 patents worth of goodwill? @heraclitus Not sure if you're the person to tag but I respect your posts, if you don't know could you possibly refer me to someone (or the resources to research myself if so).
