What is the difference between the failure of Beowulf Mining and the success of Talga? Both have struggled for years with govts and the greens. Talga did a excellent environmental impact assessment and it got also the green light from the neighboring country Finland. Beowulf has not been made into a similar one. There is also a big difference in the environments in which mines are planned. Talga´s mine is located in the middle of nowhere, but Beowulf mine is planned to locate in a relatively densely populated area surrounded by clean lakes. Similar located mine did a disservice to all other mining projects releasing a massive amount of waste into the environment 10 years ago. Investors should know that it will be at least 25 years before the next mine is opened in Finland.
