The announcement follows rigorous scrutiny of submitted application documentation and extensive consultation with relevant authorities over several years. Based on the Court’s announcement and preliminary timetable, public statements regarding the application need to be submitted no later than 23 June 2022 and the formal hearing is planned for a date during European autumn 2022. The hearing represents the final step before the Court hands down its decision."
