I think the geo-politics certainly are in our favour and in the long run if it's get to a point where the Swedish Government need to make a decision then we will most likely have their support...I'm really hoping it doesn't get to that.

Our best bet is the courts taking a pragmatic approach to the permit approvals before it gets that that point.

I do have some confidence after the mining permit approval. There was strong opposition to the permit during the court process, but Talga made the necessary concessions, dotted all of their I's and T's, and the judges (who were specialists in their respective fields) supported the permit approval.

I hope the same will apply to the refinery permit where the court can see the levels of zinc being released by Talga (44kg/a) are miniscule in the grand scheme of the current annual zinc levels being released into the water (35,000kg). According to Talga, this "has no real biological impact" and I expect they have done their research to back this up. So I hope the court takes a pragmatic approach here again.

My concern is just how long it will take to be resolved if the courts decide to grant leave for any appeals. If they don't then we're all good, but we just don't know.
