I would generally prefer grows over dividends as well. No question about it. But if I wanted to buy something with my wealth, which is to a large part in Talga, I would need to sell shares. Dividends let me keep the shares. So a small constant amount of dividends would actually be very much appreciated. But before Talgas dollar bills were to collect dust in the bank, i would prefer dividends.
as fraction of profit:
90% grows, 10% dividends > 100% dividends > 100% bank account
