"I would be inclined to keep the Tama Atacama if I could afford to ... will Lithium demand contract going into the next decade and beyond? It's an option right. They can get another year extension (I think). Brine would be the only Lithium option to pursue IMO, but with the market where it is at present, those projects can't compete for capital against Pantanillo or Rosario"

Clearly we can't afford to keep TALP - nor is it wise to invest scarce capital into projects where the ROIC doesn't compete with Pantanillo or Rosario.





That leaves just RKLP and KT in Thailand ... suspect no buyers which is testament to the oversupply in the Lithium market (or the level of state sponsored price suppression to manipulate supply).

Market cyclicality.

Spend cash only in CGUs where a return is exepcted (Cash Generating Units as they call them on the balance sheet)
